Ableton Ableton Live 7LE Production Software
Live 7 LE is Ableton's entry level program that allows beginners to
experience Live's innovative and inspiring workflow at an affordable
price. Live 7 LE features most of Live's pro features that give
producers, DJs, and musicians access to the unique tools that make the
realization of musical ideas so easy with Live. Create complex songs,
quick remixes, DJ or do live performances all in real time for
spontaneous, flowing music production.
The Live Concept
Live LE offers two main views—the Session View and the Arrangement
View—that interact in a powerful and unique way, allowing you to
create, produce and perform your music all in a single application.
Here is the principle behind each view:
Session View
Live's Session View acts as a musical sketch and launch pad,
encouraging you to try out new ideas and improvise freely. Each cell in
the Session View grid can hold a loop, recording, MIDI file, complete
song or any other musical element. These ideas can be recorded on the
fly or dragged in from the Browser, combined and played in any order
you wish.
Arrangement View
The Arrangement View offers a timeline-based approach for traditional
recording, MIDI sequencing, arranging, editing and other musical
production tasks. And when you improvise in the Session View, all of
your actions can be recorded into the Arrangement View, where they can
be edited and perfected whenever you like.
Live LE features the same studio quality 32-bit/192 kHZ recording
capabilities of it's big brother. In addition, you get up to 64 audio
tracks and unlimited MIDI tracks, real time stretching of AIFF, WAV,
OGG, FLAC and MP3s for instant remixes or DJing, and more than twenty
built-in audio effects (including delays, filters, distortions,
compressors and EQs) for endless creative possibilities. Two major
software instruments are included: Simpler for creative sample based
synthesis and Impulse for dynamic sampled drums, Ableton's Essential
Instrument 2 LE collection, 20+ built in effects (delay, EQ,
distortion, compressors, filters), and support for other VST and AU
effects and instruments. With the beginner in mind, LE also features an
