If you are looking to sell all or part of your record collection please email us by clicking here or by calling the store at 1-800-4-NEW-SOUND. The price we pay is calculated upon the condition of the vinyl / covers and the overall quality of your collection. We are also interested in buying surplus stock from any distributor or record label etc from anywhere in the world. Simply send an email to with the details.

1. We pay for collections via company check. You may also obtain a higher value for your records by accepting CSL/Calsound.com store credit.

2. We will travel locally in the Greater San Diego/Orange County/LA Area for larger collections.

3. To maximise the amount we will pay for your collection please ensure that it is as presentable as possible i.e.: ensure that records are in their correct sleeves, all price labels have been removed and the vinyl is in good clean condition.

4. Some collections may take a few days for us to apraise.

5. If traveling to the store to have your collection valued please contact us first to ensure someone will be able to view it.

6. Try to avoid bringing along your collection to us on a Friday or Saturdays as these are our busiest store days and therefore usually take considerably more time to process.

7. We don't just purchase dance music collections. We are also very interested in Soundtracks, 70's & 80's, Disco, Soul, Pop Music and Rock Music as long as it's on Vinyl.

8. We will always try our best to make you a fair on-the-spot offer for your collection, however purchase is not guaranteed.

9. And feel confident that your vinyl is going into the loving hands of music fiends.
